These are some highlight photos from our trip to Yosemite over 4th of July weekend. We took the Mirror Lake trailhead out of Yosemite Valley and camped in the backcountry that night. We hiked out onto North Dome to take some amazing pictures of its infamous sister, Half Dome, looked out over the Falls, and finished the trip at the Yosemite Creek Campground. Our group of four enjoyed some hard-earned fire-side food and wine, jumped into refreshingly cold natural streams and even spotted a few bears. Being a self-proclaimed “terrible hiker”, I felt pretty proud after this trip. We had a 4,000 foot elevation gain and traveled 25 miles in 2 days (with packs on!). I think I have found a new passion 🙂
